The Falk family’s five generations of farming began when present owner Ken Falk’s grandfather emigrated from Russia to B.C. in the 1950s. Farming everything from grain to hogs to raspberries, the baton was passed along to his son, then to Ken, and since 1998, to his son and current general manager Joe Falk. Even Joe’s 12-year-old son has gotten involved in the family business, and had his first day on the job this past summer.
