Ingredients

  • 2 packages (1kg) Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry lean ground duck
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 piece of bread heel, toasted and crumbled
  • ½ cup oatmeal flakes
  • Cheese slices

Preparation Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients except for the cheese in a large bowl with your fingers until just blended. Shape mixture into 8 patties on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until a meat thermometer stuck in the middle of the burger reaches at least 165°F.
  4. Slice up your cheese, and place on top of the burgers. Put the burgers back into the oven until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
  5. Serve with buns and all your favourite burger fixings!
