Where it Began
Our family loves to farm and produce good food. That love and passion led to Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry, founded in 1973. Based in Yarrow, BC, our family — now in its fifth generation of farming — has raised chickens, ducks, and other poultry ever since, delivering fresh poultry daily.
Traditions with Modern Standards
At FVSP, we're in it for the long game. We understand the grit, determination, and drive required to run a farm, and we continue to raise the bar while staying true to our roots as a family-run business. We've adopted new technologies, expanded our product selection, and grown our reach to bring premium poultry to more communities across the province.

Our family has grown alongside our business, sharing our expertise and continuing to uphold our standards and values. With multiple generations working together from farm to storefront, we're hands-on and involved every step of the way and we're fortunate to work with people, suppliers, and service providers who share the same passion.

The Fraser Valley is our home. We're deeply rooted in the community and proud to support numerous causes. From the annual Barn Burner BBQ & Car Show to Yarrow Days celebrations, we undertake local sponsorships and donations, giving back right where we work and live.

Ethical Farming
Our flocks are raised in free-run environments tailored to their needs, prioritizing and ensuring their well-being at every stage of development. We follow strict humane handling protocols and our birds receive gentle, hands-on care as needed while being fed a diet of premium feed and water straight from our aquifer.
Food Safety & Quality
We never compromise on quality or safety. Our staff receive extensive hands-on training to uphold the highest production standards possible. We provide full traceability for maximum farm-to-table transparency and utilize on-site processing for maximum freshness, cleanliness, and control.
Cultural Respect & Diversity
We're not just another poultry producer. We offer a wide selection of premium poultry to serve the needs of our diverse customer base. From turkey, goose, and duck to Loong Kong and Emperor chickens, it's always fresh and always delicious.
